The guys at THQ are at it again. This time UFC Undisputed 3 predicts the upcoming Evans vs Davis fight on Fox. Personally, I’m rooting for Davis!

This Saturday live at 5PM PST / 8PM EST on FOX, we’ll see what could be a classic Light Heavyweight battle to be the next contender against the champ Jon Jones. Young gun Phil “Mr. Wonderful” Davis takes his 9-0 undefeated streak against the 16-1 veteran and former LHW champ, Rashad “Suga” Evans.

In UFC Undisputed 3, Evans overall rating is “89″ while Davis is an “88″, it’s fairly even keel, but is that going to make a huge difference inside the Octagon? You tell us after watching the official fight simulation video.

Jupiter Moon is a brand new studio on the scene and their first offering is an iPad game called Bunny Popper!

In the likes of run away hits like Angry Birds or Fruit Ninja, Bunny Popper is a simple game with really fun, yet at time intense gameplay. The game is in the name. You, the player, need to protect your carrots from this evil space bunny. To acquire the carrots, the evil space bunny launches different varieties of rabbits (bunnies) at you. Your objective is to “POP” all the bunnies!

The first thing that jumped out at me was the music. It’s absolutely fitting for the game but I found myself wondering if “Dueling Banjos” was going to make an appearance. Game menu’s easy to understand. The developers basically let you physically tap on each item/character to find out what it does (it’s an iPad game…contact is the name of the game). This is really elementary, yet not all devs employ such a strategy. This allows the player to interact and connect with the game on such a basic level.

There are twenty total levels of gameplay and sixteen unlockable rewards. As each level progresses, you’ll be provided help in the form of stars, cats, dogs and Easter eggs. The intensity really gets cranked up as you start approaching level 7 onwards. Honestly I felt like I was playing  “Horde Mode” in Gears of War at one point! You just get bombarded with hordes of bunnies just coming at you and you really need to strategies and multi task well to get through the rounds. I tend to get really competitive and almost threw my iPad on several occasions as I’d failed the level only to find out I was a couple of bunnies left to completing, which speaks well for the game.

All in all, Bunny Popper is a really fun and interactive game that utilizes simple gameplay to deliver boat loads of fun and enjoyment, all for the low low price of $0.99 in the Apple App Store. If you’re a fan of Angry Birds and Fruit Ninja, you’ll love Bunny Popper!

THE BLACK KEYS NOW AVAILABLE FOR UBISOFT’S ROCKSMITH

The Black Keys songs available on Playstation Network and Xbox Live

WHAT: Ubisoft announced today that The Black Keys Song Pack DLC is now available for download for Rocksmith.

Songs included in this pack are “Gold on the Ceiling”, “Mind Eraser”, and “Just Got to Be.”

Each song will be available for individual purchase for $2.99 or as a 3-pack for $7.99 on the Playstation network.  Each song will be available for individual purchase for 240 Microsoft points or as a 3-pack for 640 points on Xbox Live.

New music packs continue to be released on a regular basis so please continue to watch for updated information.

PlayStation SCEA and the great crew from PlayStation Blog threw a smashing community event, Thursday, December 1^st 2011, in San Francisco, CA. They held it at (what they dubbed) The PS Vita Social Club. Fancy huh? You bet it was. Now you’re wondering, what is the event about? C’mon…it’s in the name! Hands on with the highly anticipated PlayStation Vita!

Fans and community members of PlayStation gathered together in anticipation for the doors to open at 5pm. The first ones in line was a couple that drove up all the way from San Diego to participate. While people waited, members of the PlayStation blog greeted their fans and showed off a little sliver of what they could expect when they got in.

Cheers rang out as the doors finally opened. Upon entering the “Club”, you’re greeted at a concierge desk and given the club rules and a breakdown of what you’d be experiencing. The décor was amazing! The look and feel of the place really played to the theme in which this whole event was about….social, exclusive, premium, classy. Like an old skool cigar club. You were walked to your seat, and they would wheel out the PS Vita units on silver platters as they handed it to you individually.

Seven different games were on hand for your enjoyment, Little Big Planet, Hot Shots Golf World Invitational, Reality Fighters, Wipeout 2048, Little Deviants, Sound Shapes and of course…..Uncharted: Golden Abyss! Each game utilized the different functionality of the PlayStation Vita and basically showed off how versatile the device is. They even had Uncharted 3 on hand, that you could play… in 3D.

While everyone was having a good time with the hands on experience, a raffle would be held and PlayStation prizes were given out to the lucky winners.

I was told that San Francisco was the pilot for this Social Club. They are rolling it out to other cities as well, like New York and Chicago. The PS Vita Social Club will be open through February clear after the launch of the PlayStation Vita. Keep an eye out if they’ll be coming to a city near you. If you’re in the Bay Area, swing on by and experience the PS Vita Social Club first hand. They’re open from 11am-9pm, seven days a week.

PlayStation Vita will be released, 2/22/2012 and retails for $249.

Ubisoft launched their new game ABBA You Can Dance in spectacular fashion. They rented out a parking lot near Fisherman’s Wharf and invited everyone around to come join in on the fun. They had Liam Mayclem, of local SF tv show “Eye on the Bay” fame hosting the event. Not bad for a Thursday morning.

As you can expect, all the greatest ABBA hits are in this title for the Nintendo Wii. The tracklist has twenty-six hits packed in the game out the box, from Dancing Queen to Waterloo, from Mama Mia to Money Money Money, you can dance the night away with friends, family and loved ones. Everyone young and old came out and let their inner dancing queen fly!

If you’re a fan of Ubisoft’s mega hit Just Dance, you’ll dig ABBA you Can Dance.
